Pista anarchica e caso Siemens dietro il delitto di Atene?

Il sito informativo in bulgaro, greco e inglese GRReporter.info fornisce un chiaro riassunto in inglese della meccanica e delle prime ipotesi formulate dagli investigatori in relazione all'omicidio del giornalista Sokràtis Ghiòlia, morto ieri mattina in un sobborgo di Atene.

Ghiòlia, 37 anni, un figlio di 2 e una moglie incinta di un secondo, sarabbe stato attirato molto presto, al mattino, in un agguato organizzato da un gruppo di fuoco di tre persone. Travestiti da poliziotti i tre avrebbero citofonato alla loro vittima invitandolo a scendere per strada a causa del tentativo di furto della sua automobile. Ghiòlia, collaboratore del blog Troktiko e direttore delle news della stazione Radio Thema, sarebbe stato colpito da 16 proiettili su entrambi i lati del corpo. Alcuni di questi proiettili, calibro 9 parabellum, sarebbero stati esplosi secondo la polizia dalla stessa pistola (non una mitraglietta o un fucile automatico come avevo scritto ieri) che lo scorso anno era servita per uccidere un poliziotto in un delitto poi rivendicato dalla nuova sigla terroristica Setta Rivoluzionaria.

GR Reporter parla anche di strani precedenti relativi alla collaborazione tra Ghiòlias e Makis Triandafilopoulos, noto giornalista investigativo greco. I rapporti tra i due sarebbero finiti bruscamente a causa di vari attriti un paio di anni fa, quando Ghiòlias e Triandafilopoulos litigarono sulla pubblicazione delle fotografie di un tresca tra un politico e una delle impiegate dello staff dello stesso Triandafilopoulos. Sei mesi fa Ghiòlias era stato arrestato per diffamazione di un altro associato di Triandafilopoulos, che il giornalista ucciso aveva accusato di presiedere la società coinvolta nel grande scandalo delle mazzette del gruppo tedesco Siemens. Si era in realtà trattato di omonimia, ma la persona presa di mira da Ghiòlias lo denunciò e la polizia finì per convocarlo, sequestrando alcuni server utilizzati da Troktiko. Ma adesso salta fuori il collegamento con la Setta Rivoluzionaria, una possibile formazione terroristica anarchica (leggo sempre su GRReporter) formatasi tra fine 2008 e inizio 2009 dopo una scissione del gruppo Lotta Rivoluzionaria. Proprio un anno fa la Setta rivendicò l'omicidio di un poliziotto 40enne ad Atene. Nel marzo di quest'anno, in un altro scontro a fuoco con la polizia è morto Lambros Foundas, biologo 35enne a suo tempo coinvolto con le attività di Lotta Rivoluzionaria, trovato in possesso di esplosivi e lettere relative alla nuova formazione.

Quali sono dunque le ragioni della morte di Ghiòlias, una morte così mirata? Quali risvolti politici può avere e quali eventuali collegamenti con il caso Siemens e con le relazioni turbolente tra la vittima e Triandafilopoulos? Come si sa la nazione sta attraversando una difficilissima fase economica e politica ed è al centro di una delle zone più magmatiche e velenose d'Europa, al confine tra Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria e Turchia. Oggi, 20 luglio, i nazionalisti ricordano l'Operazione Attila I, l'invasione turca di una Cipro da poco indipendente e federale, avvenuta appunto il 20 luglio 1974 (questa prima invasione venne decisa in seguito a un mezzo tentativo - greco - di rovesciare il premier cipriota Makarios e venne seguita un mese dopo, con Makarios di nuovo al potere, dalla definitiva invasione di Cipro del Nord, ancora oggi una forte area di instabilità). Probabilmente in Grecia qualcuno teme che questo delitto possa scatenare una spaventosa escalation di eventi. Journalist Investigating the Siemens Affair was Killed

The director of Theme 98.9 radio station and Troktiko e-blog Sokratis Golias was shot pointblank outside his home in the Athens suburb Iliupolis at 5.20 am this morning.

The 37-year-old Golias wasn't well-known to the general public but his name was very popular in the journalist circles. He is a longtime associate of the famous journalist Makis Triandafilopoulos, the best investigation journalist in Greece. He was in the media limelight for the fist time in 2008 when he left the team of Triandafilopoulos disgracefully. The reason lied in their disagreement on whether to publish pictures proving the close relation between a Greek politican and a lady of his employees.

He was again in the headlines 6 months ago when he was arrested on charges of defamation. He had claimed in his blog that another associate of Triandafilopoulos, George Psaras, was CEO of the company Telepassport through which, it is believed, the black cash money of Siemens were transferred. Then it turned out that this is a coincidence of surnames. George Psaras sued Golias and he was arrested again early in the morning and taken from his home to the prosecutor. Then the police confiscated and the Troktiko blog computers.

It is not clear yet whether the murder of Sokratis Golias has something to do with the Siemens affair. The police are still investigating the motives for the murder. The wife of the journalist is shocked and unable to testify. The victim is the father of a 2-year-old child and his wife is pregnant with their second child. One interesting detail is that the Alter TV, where Sokratis Golias had been working and Makis Triandafilopoulos is still working, was attacked by terrorists three times in the last years and, fortunately, there were no victims.

The murderers were two or three and were disguised as policemen. They knocked on the front door, saying that someone tried to steal the car and motorcycle of the journalist. When Sokratis Golias opened the door, they fired five bullets in him. Death occurred instantly. The murder is being investigated by the Security Service in Attica and the Anti-Terrorist Office. According the official police information, Golias was killed with the same weapon that was used in the attack to the police station in Koridalos. Then the Sect of Revolutionaries took the responsibility for the terrorist attack.
